Vegetable prices at traditional markets in Ho Chi Minh City have surged, with some items rising 5,000 to 10,000 dong per kilogram in the past month.
Cucumbers now sell for 20,000 to 30,000 dong per kilogram, while potatoes start at 35,000 dong and tomatoes reach 20,000 dong. Scallions and bok choy have both climbed to 30,000 dong per kilogram, while pennywort is now priced at 20,000 dong.
